I made Valentine’s arrows for my little cupids using wooden skewers, ribbons, and foam.
I cut hearts from pink and red bubble wrap for the kids to pop with their fingers and with their Cupid’s arrows. My kids love popping bubble wrap bubbles and it’s so great for fine motor practice!
I also stuck some foam hearts on the walls to add to the Valentine’s theme. All I had to do was wet them and they magically stick to the walls like stickers!
I added a little red food coloring to the water…just enough to make it turn pink. I also poured in some bubble gum scented bubble bath and tossed in some rose petals.
The rose petals came from a rose bush in our yard so they didn’t cost anything!! The kids loved rubbing the silky petals in their hands. A great sensory activity!!
Lilah especially loved this bath. She said, “Mom, it’s so pretty. So, so pretty!” She’s my girly girly who loves all things pink.
When it was time to clean-up, the kids got a little more fine motor practice by skewering the rose petals so they wouldn’t go down the drain.
