- 2 Pottery Barn Anywhere chairs (a Craigslist purchase),
- the smallest of a set of nesting tables,
- a basket for the audio books (there are two pictured as we started with a plastic one and switched it out for the woven one),
- and the boom box (wish I had placed the cord a little better for the photos…oh well!).
|Sometimes L&L like to sit in their own chairs.|
|Lilah likes to listen without looking at the book sometimes.
Of course, her babies like listening, too!
|Luke always likes to see the book, and he’s
really good at turning the pages at the right time!
|Sometimes they like to sit together to share the book.|
|We may have to upgrade from chairs to a loveseat soon!|
|Getting cozy with a good book!|
|I traded out the plastic basket for this one
and like it much better!
An Audio Book Tip:
If you are worried about your child scratching the audio CDs with use, first be sure they understand the proper way to hold a CD. Kids are kids though, so if you’re concerned, simply import the audio onto your computer (iTunes) so you can burn a new CD if you ever need to. Or go ahead and burn a copy to begin with; keep the original in a safe spot and let the child have the copy.
