WeGiveBooks: Read a book. Give a book.

Recently we found this really awesome website: WeGiveBooks.  The tag line of the site is “Read a book.  Give a book.  Combining the joy of reading with the power of helping others.”

You can go to the website to read all about the details, but here are a few basics to get you started:

  • It’s totally FREE!
  • There are REALLY, REALLY good books available to read.
  • The books are online, but they don’t have audio, so you actually read the book to your child (or let them read it if they’re able).
  • For every book you read, one book will be donated to whatever campaign you are currently signed up — you choose!

Here are some of the currently available books:

It doesn’t get much better than this–free books to read AND the ability to help donate books to others at the same time!

How many books did you give away today? :))
